Les Belles Combes celebrates its 40th anniversary exceptionally in February 2023!!

Les Belles Combes, THE popular cross-country ski race in the Hautes Combes in the Haut-Jura, will celebrate its 40th anniversary on an unusual date: the event will not take place on the penultimate weekend of January, but exceptionally February 18 & 19, 2023!

We have chosen to adapt to an already busy program at the end of January 2023: the Haut-Jura will indeed host a cross-country skiing World Cup, shaking up the national calendar, especially that of “long distances races”.

"Les Belles Combes" organizing committee has therefore chosen an original date to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

In this way, we believe we are contributing to a more balanced calendar and, after a few difficult years disrupted by the health crisis, giving skiers as many opportunities as possible to take part in competitions in 2023!

“Les Belles Combes” will still be on the Ski Classics “Challengers” calendar. New this year is the presence of our marathon in classic style on the world calendar of the "Worldloppet", because we are convinced that the Nordic domain of Hautes Combes deserves to be known beyond the border...

So we hope to see many of you on our anniversary edition in 2023, on February 18 & 19!
